The Parent Connection committee members for 2008-2009 are:
Kari Thayer - Co-chair
Susie Williams - Co-chair
Michelle Ludowese - Secretary

The purpose of St. Michael Parent Connection Committee is:

  • To promote the need and benefit of religious value-oriented education;

  • To promote a clearer understanding of educational responsibilities of parents and teachers;

  • To establish an informational network and process to assist parents in their knowledge and understanding of St. Michael School;

  • To provide opportunities for parents and others to participate more effectively in the educational mission of the Church, especially as it is carried out in the St. Michael School Program.

Membership consists of all parents and guardians of students enrolled in the Church of  St. Michael School Program.  The parent committee of the Parent Connection Committee coordinates all activities, projects, and fundraisers sponsored by the members of the Parent Connection Committee.  These consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Marathon

  • Gala Dinner

  • Aprilfest

  • Fish Fry

  • Fall Community Fest

The committee meets the first Thursday of each month.  During these meetings discussions are held on upcoming activities, what needs to be accomplished for these activities along with getting updates from recently completed activities.

The committee is seeking interested parishioners willing to share their ideas in ways to carry out the mission of this committee.  If you would like to be a part of this committee, or for more information, you may call Tasha Haefner at 952-447-1653.
