Admissions

Enrollment

St. Michael Catholic School, mindful of our mission to prepare students to live the Gospel message in an ever-changing diverse world, admits students of any race, color, national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the school. St. Michael Catholic School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, gender, or disability in administration of their educational policies, scholarship programs, athletic and other school administered programs.

While SMCS does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full range of services may not always be available to them.

School registration begins during Catholic Schools Week each January. Existing school families will receive pre-printed registration packets to verify and submit to the school office. Families interested in enrolling their children may contact the school to schedule an informational tour and to obtain registration materials.

Financial Assistance

St. Michael Catholic School is committed to providing an education to any family seeking a Catholic faith-based learning environment for their children. SMCS is committed to providing financial assistance based upon the needs of our families.

St. Michael Catholic School utilizes TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services), a comprehensive service to facilitate the financial aid application and verification process.

Applications for financial aid are provided by the school administration to parents throughout the school registration process beginning in January. Applications are confidential. Parents are responsible for the $25.00 processing fee.

Applications are reviewed by TADS to determine and advise the family’s financial need to St. Michael Catholic School. School administration communicates the results to parents as soon as possible, each spring.

Applicants may request additional funds by contacting the school principal. Requests for additional funds are considered for approval by the administration. In the event of hardships during the school year, parents are able to submit an application to TADS and St. Michael Catholic School for review by contacting the school principal.
